The Basics

The very first thing you will be asked to do in the game is input both your own name as well as the name of your first doll. Your name will change the main character's name to yours, or you can leave it blank to keep it as Eri's name. The name of the first doll is important for the end of the game. Remember what you put for the first doll's name, as you'll need to input it again to complete the main story of the game.

Nameless is an almost entirely visual novel game, in which the player raises character stats by selecting different options presented to them at certain points in the game. In the common route, the player must choose the option that would please the love interest they wish to pursue. During the character routes, the choices are similar, but usually are more specific to the one character, rather than choosing between multiple.

The game also contains two different minigames: a quiz and a card game. The quiz contains only 'true or false' questions that usually center around facts about the game and its characters or about Cheritz. The card game is a matching the pairs game of all the characters' faces.

How To Reach The Good Ending

The first characters you are able to pursue immediately after the common route are Lance, Yeonho and Yuri. Then, as long as you have completed at least one of those three routes, you are able to unlock Tei's route. After you have completed Tei's route, you are then able to unlock Red's. After completing every good ending, you unlock secret ending one.

To unlock secret ending two, you must 'forget the name', resulting in the loss of every save file you have. You will then be prompted to input the name of your first doll again, multiple times, and then you will begin secret ending two.

Other Features

Aside from the endings of the character routes themselves and the minigames, there are a couple of collectable items the player can achieve by viewing certain scenes in the game's story. There are album pictures, free talks from the voice actors and even diary entries from the characters.
